The Museum of Photography in Krakow ensures accessibility both in terms of building infrastructure and its exhibition programme.
The building provides lifts, ramps, toilets adapted to the needs of people with mobility impairments, and a wheelchair is also available to be borrowed for the duration of the visit; the facility is equipped with four induction loops.
The main exhibition offers solutions that increase the accessibility of content, including audio description, tactile graphics, magnifying glasses and a guide in Braille. The
Museum also takes into account the needs of people with intellectual disabilities, those on the autism spectrum and highly sensitive individuals, offering materials that are easy to read and understand, a quiet room, noise-cancelling headphones and quiet visiting hours. However, it should be noted that the building also holds temporary exhibitions, which may not have all of the accessibility features described above.
Visitors are advised to read detailed information on the Museum’s accessibility prior to their visit at: accessibility.
