Zdzisław Beksiński belongs to a small group of Polish artists whose work is recognised both in Poland and abroad. Since October 2016, the Nowa Huta Cultural Centre (NCK) has presented a permanent exhibition of 50 paintings from the private collection of Anna and Piotr Dmochowski, art dealers and friends of the late artist. Most of the oil paintings shown in the Gallery date from the 1980s, known as Beksiński’s “fantastic period”. It was during this time that he created his best-known works, many of which are now considered iconic.

Estimated visiting time: 30-45 min
