The idea behind the exhibition is to present the most important themes in the artist’s work. These are not necessarily the themes for which he is best known and that made him famous, but those that run through his entire oeuvre. The first is transience and death: the passing of people, ideas, and landscapes. The second is what is secondary, overlooked, and provincial.

The exhibition includes works from different periods of Jerzy Duda Gracz’s artistic path. Visitors can see how his painting changed over time: meticulousness and attention to detail gradually give way to panache, expressiveness, and emotion.

Information for people with disabilities

Access to the main entrance of the Nowa Huta Cultural Centre (NCK) is via the square in front of the building, which is fully accessible to visitors with reduced mobility. There are no curbs or obstacles that could make access difficult or unsafe.

The NCK car park is fully accessible and includes eight clearly marked parking spaces for visitors with disabilities.

All floors of the building, including the Jerzy Duda-Gracz Gallery, can be reached by the lift in Building A.
