The show

The story is narrated by a voice-over, which visitors hear through headphones or speakers. A film is shown on cinema screens, but the real stars of the show are robots and moving toys created by artists. Animations, shadow theatre and archive footage form the background. Together with surprising special effects, the whole creates an unforgettable spectacle. In a fun and accessible way, the show introduces visitors to the Royal Capital City of Kraków and its fascinating legends.

The content

During the show, we tell the stories of the Wawel Dragon, Queen Kinga and the Wieliczka Salt Mine, the Towers of St Mary’s, the Yellow Peaked Shoe, the Wawel Heads, Stańczyk the Jester, the Sigismund Bell, Stanisław Wyspiański, Rabbi Moses Isserles (Rema), Master Twardowski, St Mary’s Bugle Call, and Lajkonik – the Hobby Horse of Kraków.
