Nowa Huta – the “ideal communist city” built after the Second World War – hides many secrets. One of them are the underground air-raid shelters built in the 1950s to protect Nowa Huta’s inhabitants from the effects of another expected war.

The Museum of Kraków offers guided tours with a Polish Sign Language (PJM/SJM) interpreter at all its branches. Please book this service in advance.
