The Museum of Engineering and Technology is housed in a unique complex of buildings that is the only one in Europe to fully document the development of public transportation from horse-drawn trams to buses. of Krakow's Kazimierz district—one of the city's most charming neighborhoods—just a short tram ride or a scenic walk from the Main Square.
The exhibition “The City. Technosensitivity” is the first such comprehensive story in Poland about the transformation of the city and the inventions that shaped the lives of its inhabitants, featuring more than 600 artifacts across 12 fields of engineering. The exbibits include: a Frania washing machine, a locomobile, a Fiat 508 from 1936, prototypes of Polish cars (including the Beskid 106), a Bungalow New World gas stove and an Odra 1305 computer a symbol of Polish innovation.
